The Play These for Now EP sees Brintz displaying his lyrical prowess, empowered by production which complements his usually calm and vibrant caddence. The Introduction track “Vin Conscious” serves as an opener to the project, done as a tribute to the late Zimbabwean hiphop icon, Cal Vin. The project manages to strike a balance between
braggadocious offerings such as “Kasi Boy” & “Top 5” with conscious and social commentary centred songs such as “S.O.M.M” with faRAi and “Nkosi Sikelela with Luminous. “Ubunandi Kuphela” the collaboration with Indigo Saint and Prolific of the Cottage 47 hub is a breath of fresh air and is a guaranteed summer jam to get the people going during parties and social gatherings.
